The team at White Space were delighted to have had the opportunity to create Wood & Wood Signs Folder design & brand identity.
We were approached by Sea Change Marketing to create a suite of new marketing collateral for Wood & Wood Signs. Having created a reversed out version of the Wood & Wood Signs logo, we then set out to find a colour that would form the basis for all the collateral that would also tie in the separate colours which denoted the various industry sectors. We chose a dark grey as the main colour that would be used throughout the suite, including the folder design.
For the Folder Design, we decided that we wanted to have it printed onto a silk stock, with foil, spot UV and die-cut, to make it stand out and become unique to their business. The die-cut for the folder followed the shape of the ‘W’ from the logo device, helping to create a unique and eye-catching design. The folder also incorporated a gusset pocket to allow for a large amount of inserts, as well as a slot for the business card.
We ensured that the corporate, clean design was used for all elements, keeping the layout consistent throughout.
All the images were enhanced by creating a unique Photoshop action which we created, to desaturate the strength of colour within the image and to provide enhanced shadow areas. The intention was to create a new ‘image style’ that could be easily replicated for all of the images. This style will now be adopted for any other Wood & Wood Signs collateral.
