Lifeworks approached us looking for a completely new brand identity. A brave step, considering their previous identity had been with them for decades.
Insights and research create a striking new brand identity
Extensive research into local charities revealed that purple, blue and yellow were very popular choices. In a sea of charities fighting for attention, and ultimately donations, we opted for a fresh, bold colour combination to guarantee Lifeworks stood out.
Once presented with the initial logo concepts, Lifeworks decided the heart 'LW' motif option was the all around favourite. We wanted to add our own twist and make the warm 'heart' red colour more vibrant and memorable, whilst still friendly. To top it off, we complemented the Lifeworks' red with a nicely contrasting Duck Egg blue.
Consistent branding; from website to windows
It's essential for any brand to stand out. With such a strong new style, we wanted to make sure no matter where you saw Lifeworks, you knew instantly who they were.
Utilising a consistent colour scheme and typestyle helps to maintain this uniformity. This combination is crucial when establishing a new charity brand as they will start to be recognised simply by colours and typography alone. Consistent imagery and shapes simply adds to this.
Continuing to break barriers
As with all of our clients, we set out to build long-term relationships. Working within the charity sector is something we all feel very passionate about. We will continue to offer expert advice and guidance in order to help raise brand awareness and charitable donations - we've even been known to do our bit through a charity walk or two!
