The Merewood close development consists of 12 luxury homes, ranging from two to four bedroom homes. Each of them offers spacious accommodation and are all very well appointed, using some of the finest materials and finishes. Therefore, it was important for us to include detail imagery to convey the quality of the homes.
Another important aspect, due to the housing developments rural location, was highlighting the lifestyle potential that owners would be able to enjoy. These ranged from country walks/runs, cycling, horse riding in the countryside and beach activities, such as surfing along the nearby coastline.
Each of the homes needed a clear visual representation of what the home looked like, a brief description, a plan view, measurements and specifications.
Due to its rural location, we set about creating an identity that would appeal to the relevant target audience. This included a sophisticated logo design and colour scheme.
The logo design is influenced by the shape associated with a large wooden field gate. A use of San Serif type ensured that the identity looked modern and elegant, to reinforce the contemporary style of the homes. An accurate reflection of the buyers’ persona.
The colour scheme represented the natural tones, often associated with rural sophistication.
The overall layout and design were kept very visual, with large images, uncluttered pages, strong use of block colours and a consistent corporate identity throughout.
Each of the house plans was drawn to scale and was positioned on each page in scale with each other so that the recipient would have a good understanding of the various room sizes from one house type to another.
The specification and house site plan illustration utilised the chosen colour scheme and were laid out to be easy and informative to read. After all, the brochure needed to be functional, as well as visually appealing.
The house renders were supplied by the architect firm, to our specified sizes and resolution. However, slight colour hue changes were made to reflect the corporate colour scheme. Lifestyle and detail images were then added to most spreads to reflect the tone of the development.
Finally, the brochure was printed onto a silk stock, then matt laminated and spot UVd throughout. This added the finishing touch that was required to provide a luxury feel.
The brochure has been well received by Pearce Homes, as well as their potential buyers and has already led to several sales.
